Life & Lore With
Romancing the Past

After finding the inn on the Internet, Cate fell in love with this lovely Queen Anne revival house, renovated into a romantic Missouri bed and breakfast in 1996. She relocated at
the end of 2004 from fast-paced Los Angeles to the
charming, historic town of Fulton, MO to pursue a longtime dream of running a bed and breakfast. Prior to that, the house had been in the Jameson family from 1861 until 1982. Cate has done extensive research on the family and will be happy to tell you tales galore if you're interested. If not, she promises not to bore you with ancient history but will let you make your own memories in this lovely Victorian Inn.
You may meet two other members of the family if they happen to sneak out
front during your stay.
Boo
Radley (affectionately known as Boodle) is part Siamese and a more
recent acquisition--found him abandoned on a curb July 4th weekend,
just a kitten. Jack Sparrow, a gray tabby, was a stray picked up at Garth Mansion in Hannibal, Missouri.
Most importantly, it's the experience of sharing home and hospitality
that brings Cate the most pleasure. She never fails to marvel at the
different kinds of people who walk in the door, and how it seems strangers become
friends in no time at all. She hopes you'll join her list of new friends
soon!
Hail, Guest! We ask not what thou art;
If Friend, we greet thee; hand and heart;
If Stranger, such no longer be;
If Foe, our love shall conquer thee.
