You'll be spending your evening in Miss Jamie's Study, our premiere suite complete with spa bathroom and whirlpool tub . Your experience begins with an Arbonne sea salt hand scrub and paraffin dip shortly after you've settled in. Later, while you're out to dinner at one of Fulton's fabulous restaurants, we'll set the mood for your bath with romantic lighting, champagne, warm cookies, and Arbonne aromatherapy spa products, including bath gel, bath salts, and body lotion. From that point, just add 'you and yours' for a perfectly perfect evening! Pricing for double occupancy includes room for 1 night, a wonderful breakfast, and all Arbonne products. $275 per couple.

Provided in conjunction with BEKS restaurant, our dining package is one-of-a-kind. Enjoy your meal in a private setting at this fabulous downtown restaurant. The price is $149 per couple, and includes an appetizer, salad and fresh bread, entree, and dessert. A "beverage" of choice is served with this meal. Call for more details.

NEW!! Divorce Recovery Retreat
M. Scott Peck begins his book, The Road Less Traveled, with a simple statement, 'Life is difficult.' If you're going through or have recently gone through a divorce, however, you probably find this an understatement. Probably no time or transition is more difficult, and yet many of us who have 'been there' discover that there is little real understanding of this heart-breaking life passage. This package is designed for a small group of women and/or men who find themselves needing to 'get away from it all.' You'll feel your cares melt away at this peaceful Victorian retreat, which will include group discussion, journaling activities, and selected exercises from the book, Transcending Divorce by Alan Wolfelt. Your hostess, Cate, a writer and divorcee herself, will guide and share coping skills from her own recovery journey. Purchase the book and a special journal ahead of time so you'll be ready for your getaway. Your package also includes a welcome reception with snacks, a 2-night stay at Romancing the Past B&B, lunch during the retreat, and a group dinner at BEKS that evening. Wonderful Walks
We'll
pack your lunch and provide the maps for your wonderful walk! Tour the
fabulous Fulton historic district, nearby William Woods University with
its stables and thoroughbreds, or head over to the new Stinson Creek
hiking trail where you can enjoy nature's splendor during any season of
the year. Your trek includes our day-pack lunch, filled with a
delicious lunch entree, chips, fruit, beverages, and fresh home-made
dessert. We'll also throw in an autographed copy of your hostess's book, Walking Wonders: Stepping Your Way to a More Creative

Writers Retreat
Romancing the Past is
pleased to announce packages designed especially for your writing
needs! Room rates for Monday through Thursday night stays are HALF
PRICE for writers seeking a quiet place to work. Our guest rooms are
spacious; each includes a writing space with good lighting, and
wireless or dialup Internet access. We are four blocks from the
local public library. Package may also be designed to include
consultation and/or critique by your writer/editor host Cate Richard .
Package is based on seasonal availability for single occupancy only.

High Tea on Court Street
Share Cate’s love of all things English with an afternoon ‘High Tea.’ Begin your experience by donning vintage hat and gloves followed by a champagne toast. Cate then guides you through a variety of tea choices to accent your meal, which includes light fluffy scones followed by a variety of delectable finger sandwiches. A yummy selection of desserts caps off the feast, including ‘to die for’ teacup-shaped cookies and ‘Brown Betties,’ a chocolaty concoction so named for Bettie Jameson, whose 1860s portrait smiles down on your teatime event. Parties of 10 or more $15 each; 9 or less, $19 each. Reservations required but overnight stay not necessary.

Lounging with no interruptions…pampering in a quiet setting…food and wine fit for a…Queen!! Wouldn’t you like to spend an afternoon with no kids, no calls, no distractions, purely taking time for YOU? Bring a friend or four—this package can be adapted to fit your needs. The pampering includes one of our luxurious suites for two nights, champagne and an Arbonne sea salt hand scrub after your arrival, a relaxing evening in our outdoor hot tub or a bubble bath in one of our cozy bathrooms, turn down service with mints on the pillow. The following day you’ll visit our local spa, where you’ll revel in your facial, a gentle massage of head, neck, shoulders and arms, foot relief with soak, salt scrub, foot massage and paraffin dip. That evening, we’ll pop the corn and you can pick a movie from our wonderful selection of videos and DVDs—or if there’s something specific you’d like to see, we’ll order it for you. Both mornings, you’ll have a full hot breakfast. $235 per person based for double occupancy. Please ask about single rates or group rates. (If you are interested in learning more about face care or makup with Arbonne , you may tailor this package to include demonstration time with a consultant on Saturday.)
