    Site of the Iron Curtain speech in 1946, now also the home of the Berlin Wall sculpture, "Breakthrough." Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, a 17th century Christopher Wren designed chapel, is now part of the Winston Churchill Memorial.

    If you haven't read Henry Bellamann's novel or seen the 1940s movie, KING'S ROW, watch it while you stay with us--then take the walking tour pointing out possible "real" locations in Fulton from the book and movie. You can spend the day exploring Columbia, only a 20 minute drive and home of the Mizzou Tigers and Big 12 sports action. Stephens College in Columbia, the second oldest women's college in the nation, houses one of the most exclusive costume research libraries in the country.
  • Jefferson City and the State Capitol are a mere 25 minutes away down Highway 54, or a lovely back road drive if you prefer that sort of outing!
  • Mexico, Missouri, another 20 minute drive, is home to the Mexico Military Academy and the American Saddlebred Horse Museum.
